Each NHG Officer and Board members is required to complete, annually, the Conflict of Interest statement which declares any interest they might have in organizations with which NHG does business.
This is the approved financial budget for North Hills Genealogists of Pittsburgh, Inc., for the fiscal year running from August 1, 2024 through July 31, 2025. This budget was approved by the NHG Board of Directors at their September 3rd meeting.
NHG is registered with the IRS as a 501c(3) charitable organization. This document is the "Determination Letter" dated 27JUL22 notifying the organization of that status.
North Hills Genealogists bylaws, amended 20MAR18
NHG Bylaws, revised for non-profit status, approved 18APR22. The bylaws describe the strict policies that NHG leadership must follow, and can only be modified by a majority vote of the NHG membership after proper notification.

The original Articles were amended to reflect verbiage required for our application as a Sales Tax Exempt organization. This is the same wording as was used in our IRS 501c(3) filing, which occurred after the original PA Articles were filed.
This document contains the "boilerplate" Corporate Bylaws filed with Pennsylvania as part of our application to become a nonprofit corporation. The bylaws were later amended in April 2022.
The Policies & Procedures describes the operational rules that the NHG follows, which can be amended by a majority vote of the Board. This edit set the allowance for speakers at monthly meetings at $250; when necessary the Program Committee can petition the Board for a greater amount.
